Earlier this month, World Pulse brought your voices from the WWW: Women Weave the Web Campaign to the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS +10 High Level Event) in Geneva, Switzerland—one of the highest policy making platforms working on information and communication technology (ICT) for development. World Pulse to Shine Spotlight on Newborn Health in Ethiopia

World Pulse Managing Editor Corine Milano joins a select group of nine U.S. journalists who are reporting on newborn and maternal health in Ethiopia with the International Reporting Project. The two-week long reporting trip (June 14-27) examines Ethiopia's efforts to prevent newborn deaths, and provides an overview of maternal and child health, immunizations, nutrition, communicable diseases, and health care provision.
